Yes, there's lots!
http://www.my-diary.org/ http://www.onlinediary.net/ http://www.124diary.com/ and I also have several "blogs" that I just don't give the addresses out for :-) Get a PC blog, it's by your nick and if your husband doesn't know your nick he can't very well find it? Too, it doesn't have to be listed anywhere. https://www.blogger.com/start

Perma,
I'm going try some of those websites, but onlinediary. net took my money. I paid for the gold membership with my Visa and nothing happened so i cancelled the membership, now I don't know if they charged me or not. Thanks for the input, I'll try what you suggested.

Did you call or e-mail at onlinediary.net ask them what gives? What do you mean nothing happened? They're in England and it might take awhile for their confirmation, your password, etc. to get to your e-mail? My husband's main e-mail account is in Luxembourg or somewhere else in Europe and he sometimes has a delay.
They're a very legit business so I'm sure you won't have trouble with your Visa, getting your account cancelled or credited if it was charged, etc. if that's what you want. I use to have one at mydiary.org, the first one but now have my Psych Central blog and a blog at Blogger, etc. Too, my husband barely knows I keep a journal :-) much less having the interest or inclination to read it. All parties for him are "surprise" parties because he's usually not paying attention anyway, LOL. Sorry you have to hide yours. You could still use Word like you do and keep it on CDs or floppy disks and carry them with you everywhere/hide old ones?

Perma,
I have no 800 number to call and since it's long long distance to call, I tried to email and it didn't accept the email. I'll try to do it again, but I'm not sure there email is working. thanks PS I found another website called MY Psytracker.com and I am waiting on confirmation from them as well. It combines a diary with mental health issues, so it might be a good site to use.

I think the mypsychtracker.com one has it's own "format" though.
You had trouble with the onlinediary e-mail address or their contact form? info@onlinediary.net seems to work. I hate contact forms. Sorry you're having trouble with them. Here's another therapy journal that looks kind of good to me :-) http://www.mytherapyjournal.com/

Thanks Perma,
I checked it out the my journal site and it seems to be a pretty good one, now my dilemma is to pick which one to start and use. Or else I'll have to journal in more than one site. You know how that goes if you're a little manic, you can't make up your mind. Thanks again and see you soon ![]()

Umm, I can't believe no one noted that we host our own online free journals / blogs here too!!

Dear Doc John,
I tried to enroll in psychCentral blog, but it keeps telling me that I have an invalid password. I tried and reset it 3 times and it still doesn't work. what should I do?

I have a journal on GreatestJournal which is alot like LiveJournal. (except I think that GJ is ALOT easier to use) these journals can be set to either private, friends only, or public...I really like it.</font> |

Thanks Kaika,
I'll look it up and see what it is like. I've already tried 124diary, which is very good, and I also started journaling on mypsychtracker.com which also tracks your mental health symptoms as well. You take a test every day and it's charted on a graph to see how you are doing. I kind of like this one now pretty much. Try it and see and then PM me with your respone.

Just Passing By, you don't use your own password for the PC blogs; they send you one in your e-mail you are using for the site. It's a complicated number/letter thing. I finally figured out which one worked (because I kept resetting it too, like you, and it kept faithfully sending me a delayed new one, etc.) and kept only "that" password, etc. They send you a message saying you have reset then they send you another message a bit longer after that gives the new password. If you keep using the previous one and resetting you never catch up :-)

Thanks Perma,
I'll try one more time and see if it works if not oh well. I used their password and it still didn't work for me. I guess I am not very patient. Hope you are having a good day today! I'm really trying but it's hard when obstacles come your way. I just deal with my problems the best way I can until the right solution comes along or I think of one.

Yes, I have lots of websites and e-mail accounts and blogs, etc. and get all confused and tangled up sometimes :-) I hate that. It's like when a necklace gets knots in it from lying in a drawer with others and you have to painstakingly pick them out before you can wear it.
My day was okay, went out with a friend, had steak on the barbecue grill (it's in the high 50's, low 60's up here). I have to get up too early tomorrow morning to go to my husband's ex-wife's house too far away but other than that. . . :-)
