Okie,

You're going through a lot of stressful things right now, it's very overwhelming. Hang on, the load will lighten soon! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry I have not been around for a few days, but I saw this and want you to know you always have my support and prayers. You are not alone. We are here to carry you when it seems too heavy to carry alone.

one foot in front of the other. if you can remember maybe you can try some deep breathing when it all feels too overwhelming. that's what it takes out here just to keep going through the days.....breathe in....breathe out....sigh deeply.....repeat.

please don't give up okie. you've got a crowd of ppl here carrying you in their hearts and thoughts. don't forget you've made an impact and you matter to this community. and this community will be here waiting for when you're feeling up to being here again.

kindly,

Dear Okie,

I just wanted to say that I really do understand and offer my support. Here is something that helps me keep things in perspective, even through the hardest times...

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.”

I hope this helped you to stay strong. You owe it to yourself and others around you!
