She's still getting it together at home, but the contractions are getting stronger and closer (still no consistency yet tho), plus she's had "show" all day.
I'm just waiting for her to call me to say she's there and they're keeping her. I'd say it will be early tomorrow morning sometime that she goes to the hospital. I'd say he'll be born tomorrow...on his due date! Please keep her and my little Ethan James in your thoughts and prayers and I'll let you know ASAP! Yes, I'm taking the camera! Love, KD

I'm heading to the hospital. She's had 13 contrations in the last hour so things are moving along very well.

Ah you're at the hospital!!!! Woot!!! I hope he waits till after midnight so he's born on his due date hehehe!!!
This is aside from the celebrating, but what is "show'? Can someone tell me? I've so been enjoying learning about pregnancy lately.

Thanks so much everyone!
I've been here since midnight and she was dilated 3 cent. when we got here and went from 3 to 4 in an hour. They've not checked her since but her contractions have been steady and they have the epidural already in place. She's feeling great relief and trying to get some shut eye right now. They expect the OB in soon and she'll break her water at that point...from there hopefully it will go quickly. It will happen today for sure...probably this AM. How many babies do you know that are actually born on their due date? hehe. I'll check back soon! Love ya's! KD

Rayna,
"Show" may be the bloody discharge when the birth is imminent. It could also be the mucous plug that is released prior to labor beginning. You would think I would know as I am a Mom myself. Yep, my meaning for show is actually both of what Sherri described...she's been having both beginning the night before last then very weak hit and miss contractions and everything built up from there.

At 9:19 Ethan James came to meet his family. He is 7/12 and 20 1/2 inches long with the smallest, sweetest features I've ever seen, chipmunk cheeks and HUGE feet! He is BEAUTIFUL...JUST BEAUTIFUL.
Everyone is good and the birth was as smooth as could be. I'm so happy. Thank you so much everyone! KD
