I am trying.

But the wind moves or my teeth may aches.
I have prepare the tools. I am ready and then I feel tired, cold in my hands.

What do you do to fight this ?

Best Regards

Well, maybe you could consult your doctor? Explain that your teeth ache, you feel tired, and your hands feel cold, that it's causing you to procrastinate. Tell the doctor and see what s/he says. It could lead to the solution, aprengo.

Sounds like your work may be causing yiu anxiety. Thinking about doing it causing anxiety? Cold hands & feeling tired are symptoms of anxiety.

Could it be you are trying to avoid the anxiety the work is causing more than it being procrastination?

Firt task accomplish !

I revise the environments : relaxation, meditation and sport.

My prefered app it's Let's meditate.

But I think the secret to activate was home sport with TRX twice a day with a bath after.

Now I have three tasks I must do in few days.

I will comment !

Best Regards

Note : I have been tired or sleeping and trying to understand myself.

Generating auto instructions in paper that I usually enter in my pc.

I decided first do the task, after fills the phrases or process the phrases.

I'm in quicksand. It is not new to me. I met one goal but now I'm stuck on the second goal.
It's maddening, I know.
Today I did a little physical exercise and went to the beach, but after the two experiences I felt tired and went to bed to relax.
I have started supplementing with vitamins, adaptogens, energy, etc.
Tonight I will take valerian, passionflower, etc.

Have you ever tried the Pomodoro Technique? The Pomodoro Technique(R) - proudly developed by Francesco Cirillo | Cirillo Consulting GmbH

I've had a lot of students find success with procrastination by using it. And I've used a modified version myself when I face writer's block. The key for me is that it seems to take the pressure off the task and any feelings about achievement, by instead focusing on the control of time. At first I had sessions of no productivity--blank page. But I stuck to the time schedule, took my breaks, etc. Within a fairly short time, somehow the pressure went away, and I started making progress.

I don't generally need to use the method strictly now, but can go back to it if a task comes up that I have anxiety about.

Perhaps the real thing is that I can't see myself.

In the past few days I am exercising (sport) and going to the beach.

I know what to do.

My problem is do what I say.

feralkittymom the suggested pommodoro technique may apply to persons with no psicological problems.

It's organization or discipline, but don't solve my problem.

Of course is a beginning. And obviously is the basis for any action.

Actually much of procrastination is related to anxiety, often fears of failure or success. Sometimes anxiety related to other issues. I think part of its success is that it separates the task from the feelings associated with the task. Many writers adopt a similar work pattern without this technique. They decide on the time period to devote to work--say 9-10 AM every day. They sit at their desk for that time whether or not they produce any words. They don't punish themselves for not producing. They simply keep to the schedule, and eventually, whatever the block is, dissipates. I think it works because it cognitively reframes the writing activity from a task associated with negative feelings/thoughts to a neutral activity focused upon a habit of time.

The commitment to the time period seems to require less motivation than the commitment to the task.

Whatever works.
Thanks for this!

Easy to say. Easy to understand.

Hard to apply : just START.

When you have cross certain line the difficulty is easy to explain and difficult to supere.

I think there are several factors :

If I am exhausted is not only the start and finish. Start again will cost.

So is not only a technique. Pommodoro, GTD or anyother.

I must adquire discipline to do the tasks.

And solve my emotional problems.

My emotional problems interfere with my working memory and my organization.

So a techniq like pommodoro or GTD may work ? Of course !. I think mainly because you made the task by phases taking breath and rest. I think because you write down the next step and the last step done.

In other words
In you have the best organizational technique but you forgot rest, feed well, sport and ocium you may fail again and again.

It's not only a rational question. The body has its reasons also....

I don't recommend have many silly days.

I think simply I am a selfish person

Trying to understand myself while other person waits for my works.

It's hard and I have to supere this.

You have to do a paper? put your thoughts in a journal for the only one of its kind. when you get nervous about it write that down too and time it to see what time of the days you feel anxiety coming on. i am a procrastinator and a bad one so that is all i can think to tell you.My housework is what i procrastinate about on but in the end i usually get it done after waking up fully and not going back to bed.

Thanks.

I am using for years a huge databaswre with phrases.

I write down on paper and repeat in the pc.

After all these years with my little trauma I say to myself the general recomendation : just start.

Experience the pleasure.

Create pleasure.

I am ready

I have to begin or die.

I am not ready to die.

I begin because I like
I create my serenity

My serenity is entirely mine.

See you later !
