what is it with some people? i've been having problems with a sick stalker since last summer...and it's only coz of my new T getting involved the police are finally taking it seriously. the local authority have told me they're taking out a civil injunction against him on my behalf but meantime...the sick jerk just posted a note thru my door full of words like...suicide, death etc...sick ***!!!

and i put a trig on this coz it mentions suicide, stalkers...might upset someone going thru the same thing...

I am sorry to here of your troubles, if you have not done this invest in a good said of Dead-Bolts for each of your doors and if its legal where you're at, a good security system. Most importantly keep a careful journal of all incidents related to this person, if he passes you a threatening note, pick it up with a pair of tongs or tweezers, put it in a ziplock bag and keep it with your journal. If you have to take this idiot to court, you will be well armed with evidence to support your allegations. I will pray for your continued safety, take care my friend.

I hope you're not safe because you're locked in again :-)

That's an upsetting thing to go through though. I remember when our neighbors across the street, the guy and his brother shot the back window of our camper out when we weren't home. Fortunately our good next door neighbor was on his porch and heard the popping of the gun shooting and sneaked closer to watch. The idiots came across the street to check their marksmanship and the good neighbor confronted them! When we got back he told us what had happened and had us call the police but we couldn't find any of the pellets inside the camper so the police and good neighbor went over but all the police could do was tell them it's against the law to shoot across the street like that! It turned out they were pissed about something we couldn't do anything about. I started feeling really unsafe, like they could going to start shooting at my cat or something.

Hope your guy gives up or somebody can catch him or do something about it.

((((Kalamity Jane))))

I'm really sorry that you're having to go through this. I hope the restraining order comes through quickly. I had a similar problem about 10 years ago and it was really scary - the creep actually tried to force his way into my apartment. Fortunately he was eventually deported (he was here illegally).

Will be thinking about you.

jeez... im still thinking this over KJ... its terrible that people like this are allowed freedom to continue their abusive and dangerous behasviour.. what ive learned about it is 'the cops' cant or wont do anything til someone is harmed.... great...

i understand how you feel. it took me 6 months but i finally left my abusive ex and he followed me. i moved around a lot but he always found me. changed my phone number 3 times. one night he called me over 300 times in 3 hours and left me 3 voicemails of him just breathing into the phone for 5 minutes. i took it to the cops and they blew it off as a young girl being overly dramatic. he threatened to put sugar in my gas tank, blow my car up. he told me he would have his friends waiting outside my work to beat me up unless i came back to be with him. cops didn't do anything. wouldnt give me a restraining order because they said it was my fault for being with him. cops dont give a crap as far as im concerned. so now ive changed my number 4 times and moved 400 miles away and hes still found me and called me several times over a 3 day period so i changed my phone number again. dont rely on the cops - for the most part theyre assholes who don't give a crap about you. (just from personal experience)

sick people Jane here are a couple tricks you can do >>>. Go to local thrift store and buy a pair of size 13 to 15 mens work boots ... A xx large seosonal shirt >> Like flannel.. A pair of size 36 x 44 pants >>>. Every now and then add to the shirt and pants collection .. Leave shoes outside front door and hang shirt and pants on hanger as if drying ,, that is visable to your >>> erm Friend <<<... Subscribe to Soldier of Fortune magazine is a good extra .... Plus articles in there are a bit cool to as to how to fix dumb butts .. sick people

Just a suggestion >> sick people

nowheretorun...you're right when you say cops don't do anything unless you get hurt first...they told me that other than checking up on me they can't do anything unless he attacks me or succeeds in breaking in sick people getting a big dog is a good idea though...never thought of that one.

I_WMD....those are good ideas you put forward but they wouldn't work for me...there's only one way in/out my flat and this jerk always watches and knows when i have anybody in.

the only hope i have atm is that the local housing authority have said they'll take out a restraining order on the grounds of him being a nuisance neighbor...not holding my breathe on that one tho...one big dog coming right up i think...i actually love dogs.
