It never ceases to amaze me,,,what humans are capable of doing to each other teejai.

I am a lover of history and one of the uncomfortable results of understanding from where we come,,is how little we have moved off that rock.

It is equally dismaying how any judge could look upon this tragic reality without complete and utter contempt...

The story got to me because i looked after my wife for two years when she had vascular dementia and had big guilt trips before and after she died unexpectedly because sometimes i found it hard to handle things due to the effects of my own problems and getting little help for it .
However at least i made the effort to do my best for her which is more than that useless no good waste of space did for his wife.

(teejai, I just added a trigger icon to your post because of the article... could be triggering to some)

That is so sad. Why do people do this to one another? It's so very sad. Only 18 months for this?! I'm glad he got punished, but I can see how many would think that his punishment wasnt nearly severe enough for the crime.

I feel so sorry for the poor woman. Only 18 months for this?!

Dear gosh, 63 pounds, my young children weigh more than that. What a sad story!

I will keep her family close in my heart and thoughts!
