My psych. prescribed Seroquel for breakthrough anxiety/panic attacks. I have never heard of Seroquel being used in this way has anyone used it in this manner? Any success? Thanks!

I think I've heard of that, but I don't have any info on the efficacy of it. Sorry!

I have used Zyprexa, which is very similar to Seroquel, for intense anxiety and dysphoria. It worked well. When I was taking Seroquel for sleep, it also lessened my anxiety during the day.

Good luck.

I have experience with Seroquel and do not recomend it. It made me feel fuzzy. Its also associated with permanent face twitching if you take too much (rare, but still....).
