Seems lately that I can't stop the flashbacks. Some should be nice to remember, but they only leave me feeling depressed. My life has changed around so much.

I need to change it back again. I just don't know how to do that.

Wanted: New Magic Wand (will consider slightly used if in good condition).

What magic wand do you have? Mine is pink and makes a sound when hit, and has a red flashing light... but lately the sound has been bad and the light doesn work. There was also a wire sticking out of the poor thing, so I think I need a new one soon too....

I know how distressing flashbacks can be, I get them in the form of body memories, and it is stressful and it does leave you depressed.

However even though it doesn't feel like it, flashbacks are a part of healing. Remembering, learning to cope with them is possible.

Hang in there , talk it over with your T, learn the different coping methods when dealing with flashbacks.

Hang in there hon. Stay stong.

I used to get flashbacks to LSD trips -- but that was a long, long time ago. I was silly enough back then to believe that these were good and enjoy them.

Sorry you are troubled with this, Colors. I don't think I would enjoy what you are going through at all.

*hugs*

I totally know that feeling. I hope the flashbacks stop for you soon. They are no fun at all.

And I propose that we take a fieldtrip to Diagon Alley... I think we could all use new magic wands. Flashbacks

...been thinking about this colors.. (rut roh)...

I've never considered "flashbacks" to be a desireable entity. Good memories, fondness etc, yeah... Your use of the term flashback might encompass all that, which is why you also said you can't control them lately. Flashbacks in the truest sense of the word, are not controllable.

Regardless of the wording, I feel for you, and understand how terrible these make you feel. I hope you are able to get a handle on things soon.
