Re: Flashback survival tips.........I don't normal don't post here b/c it reminds of the things that happened in my life -- events that are as far pack as 6 years old. I thought after 80+ ECTs they'd just go away; now I cannot remember the "good years" I admire those who have the guts in THIS forum Re: Flashback survival tips...... Re: Flashback survival tips...... Re: Flashback survival tips...... Re: Flashback survival tips...... Re: Flashback survival tips......

Hi Dayzee9

I ALWAYS enjoy your posts!! I love your use of the emoticons.

Thanks for sharing that site-- looked at it-- I think it will be very helpful for me. All my life I've had inner tension, bad dreams, and emotional numbness. After a year with my psychologist I'm able to look at the traumas ( instead of trying to deny them) that happened as a child and I think doing some of the things from the site you posted will be helpful. Especially in my case, the one that said-- something about taking that " child " and comfort her and let her feel what she needs to feel. I would never let myself feel anything about my past..... I'm finding out-- that's not been the best way for me.

Seems to me you have a lot of guts too!! Re: Flashback survival tips...... Re: Flashback survival tips...... Re: Flashback survival tips......

Hey Dayzee9, good to see you here. I don't experience flashbacks (thank God) but your link is still VERY helpful with panic/anxiety attacks. Thanks, I needed something like this to print and keep with me. My Pdoc tells me to do these types of things but it is difficult when you are amidst a panic/anxiety attack. Why didn't I think of this sooner. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
