with the DID. if things do happen to be going well inside...BOOM...PTSD trigger and it gets all messed up.

that happened last nite and "checked". it's so hard to mix PTSD

i dunno. maybe it's better? maybe i would've been alot worse off for a lot longer? i just don't know. maybe the DID helps me to come out of flashbacks better.

it's so confusing sometimes. it's so hard to mix PTSD

love y'all,

kd

(((((((((((((KD)))))))))))))),

It is very hard when we have many interrelated issues we are going through....it seems like one makes the other worse & the other make the one worse......we end up in our viscious circle or as I call it, my personal tornado.

Hang in there......hopefully it will become clear to you soon.

I'm not so sure you can divide them up... as those with Dissociative Identity Disorder have it as a coping mechanism due to an overwhelming stress event (thus the PTSD.) Trying to figure out which is which, or even considering them separately seems futile, imo. It's close to going back to the mind or body issue... both! DID is what got you through the event, PTSD is what happened to you because of the event? ((hugs))) sorry you are dealing with all those symptoms!
