Thanks again. My T wants me to think about this over the weekend: the nurse has offered (her idea) to "stop by" my T's office during one of my sessions, so that I can meet her. HUH? Like my "meeting" the enemy will all of a sudden make it OK? gotta keep it together somehow..

I feel like I have to let her meet me, since otherwise I feel they will be able to complain to the judge that I'm not "complying with their requests."

The idea that she can answer any questions I have about the in-home assessment, while at the T's, is also a ploy, imo. Why can't she provide a listing of what she needs for the assessment, ahead of time, in writing, and THEN let me see if I have any further questions before deciding???

I don't have to, T says. I am to think about it this weekend. Well, I'm done thinking. If she invades my T's office too... (if I allow that and then she's in my home...) where else can I go that they don't??????? grrrrr

It's curious to me, also, her use of "stop by" since she is in the area where I live, which is why she is the one to come to my home, yet I live no where near my T's office! If she can "stop by" the T's, then is it a long trip to assess my home???? grrr sorry... the ptsd continues to override my thoughts.

Sky,

I'm not from the USA so I'm not really sure how the system works.

I have had 'extra' help in the past. I had a nurse and an OT for a while.

At first I did think of them as the enemy, but over time I realised that they were really on my side and they did HELP me.

In my opinion- I think you need to talk this over with your T, at great length, to find out if these people are going to 'help' you, or make things worse for you.

Thinking of you. gotta keep it together somehow..
