I received a letter from the State that I have a hearing in 2 weeks. GRRR funny, since the attorney had NO documentation 2 weeks ago to even mediate for me. After all these years of not having a single hearing, my life has to be decided by an incompetent attorney in 2 weeks?
(Ok, I'm catastrophizing, or I HOPE I am!)

TY TY TY ... I read that letter 20 times... even took it with me to show T, read it this morning...but it wasn't till I read it in parking lot before going in to see T that I SAW that it's a pretrial hearing... whew!
I've had hundreds of those, nothing goes on, I don't even go now... so I don't know when the real 'trial' hearing happens.. maybe 8 months, IDK. I don't care what the letter might have said, if yall changed the wording with the good wishes, hey, that's good for me! lol TY TY TY TY

I guess the scheduling of the pretrial hearing has made the opposition take notice...
They NOW want to send an OT and Rehab Nurse to my HOME to do an evaluation so they know what I need. Does anyone know how difficult it is to let ANYONE into my home (I live alone.) PTSD is saying you must be kidding! Gonna have to do this...sooner or later. PT is wondering why it hadn't been done years ago. :O

Sky, I'm really sorry I had'nt got round to reading your thread, I mistakenly presumed everything was ok. I am really sorry about that. Stuck in my own stuff......if you know what I mean! Tutt! I think they are on your side Sky. You trust your T? Yes. So that should be a good thing? Your T is on your side so he will hopefully see everything from your point of view and be an advocate for you. I don't know! But that's what I think. Hugs

Sounds good to me!  Feels odd when people are genuinely being nice? Always feel that there must be a catch? I know the feeling! It's hard to except help when you have PTSD. And it's hard to except that other people care about us too. A bit disconcerting! I hope it goes well.

I can believe my T. I do trust him explicitly. If he weren't coming, they're right, they wouldn't be allowed in my home to evaluate my needs.
It's the "enemy" of the insurance company reps (nurse and OT) actually coming into my home... you know? I'm inviting the enemy to see my stronghold  T has agreed that I'm just short of paralyzed by fear for this event, and will try and get it scheduled (and done) asap. I can't prepare for it, there's nothing I can do or change. It just is, the way I am. Out of my mind
