...there was an article about Dunblane: 10 Years On in a magazine in the waiting room (I keep telling myself I shouldn't read things like that, but I never listen!
 ), which wasn't exactly a great start, but I did manage to tell the doctor that it's still bothering me, and she said she'd refer me to a psychologist, so that's good.  And I managed to tell mum about my thoughts on Dunblane as well...now I've just got to tell dad about it, and that I'm going to be seeing a therapist, which isn't going to be much fun as I don't think he approves of therapy.  But I'll give it a shot!

(((rio))) don't fret over who approves of what. You are doing what it takes for you to get healthy, that's what counts, the rest will fall in place.

((((alisandria)))) Thanks. I'm hoping it'll be ok...my dad wasn't at all happy when my mum suggested my sister got therapy for her fear of needles, but this is a bit different - I'm the one suggesting it, for a start.

Thanks, Petunia. The doctor said it might be a few months before I can see someone, but I will let you know how it goes!

I told dad (not about this, just about the hair pulling...thought that'd be enough for one night!), and he reacted pretty much as I thought he would: http://tinyurl.com/qgaed Maybe by the time I can start seeing a psychologist he'll have come round to the idea...I hope so.
