((((((Petunia))))))

Speaking of shoes (someone said something about shoes...) I did some shoe shopping therapy today. Helped a tiny bit. Whatever works.

Take care. Hope you're feeling better.

My husband knows there's trouble when I say as I oh so very often say, "we don't have enough, cake, pie, or chocolate in the house." (I can't imagine how it comes to that--I would never eat those unhealthy things!!!) He then offters to go get one of those or all of those things. Usually the offer is enough. Not always though, lol

good thoughts to you Petunia

I am new to any posting board - so pls forgive me if I make mistakes.

You guys are great - I've never seen so much support.

My therapist just told me I'm taking 2 steps forward and 5 steps back. She recently went holastic and I can't get with the program - she calls upon the animal spirits to help her help me. I quit.

After 20 years of therapy, I've decided to go it alone. I'm scared.

I have been diagnoised with PTS - severe childhood tramua, 12 years as a battered wife. severe depression.

I feel isolated.

Welcome freewill. I think you might have made a good choice there, to quit that T, but maybe not to quit altogether. How long did you try therapy with someone who is expert in PTSD? It doesn't get better on it's own (you don't.)
It can become worse as you age, as the coping mechanisms that used to work stop working Not feeling well TC
