Hi WW,

I think it's wonderful that you are giving one of your puppies to Sky.

We rescued a 10-month old St. Bernard mix about two months ago. She was going to be put to sleep. She was never socialized, and was just kept on a lead in the backyard. Oh does she like to CHEW and CHEW and CHEW some more. She chews on all of us. I can't seem to keep her in rawhide bones.

I hope your Doctor calls you. Don't be afraid to call him back. I think returning phone calls is a thing of the past even for doctors.

Hugs,

EJ

She didn't call. I kinda expected as much. I am noat all sure where from here but I will start the P.T. again with these new people and see what happens.

Yes, these guys are still chewing on everything I put down for them, including eachother.

WW,

Our "new puppy", Missy (10 mo. old St. Bernard mix) especially likes to chew on Baby Girl (my 3 yr. old St. Bernard). I'm afraid she is going to make swiss cheese out of Baby Girl's ears.

I'm glad you know your "next step".

Hugs,

EJ

Rebound pain can occur after taking a pain killer for short durations and when changes in the nervous system have occurred...and you have a heightened sense of pain FROM taking pain killers on and off OR for a prolonged period of time... you may stop taking the pain med, and the original pain is gone, but now you have pain FROM the heightened sensitivity... it's called rebound.

It occurs with headache pain and meds and more often with opiods.

If you continually start and stop pain meds, but find that your pain tends to occur a certain time (each) day... and you grab your pain meds... that might be a rebound pain. Either maintain regular usage of your pain meds, or when you do first get that pain, try to work through it another way and see if you can keep from needing the pain med.

But since you're going into the pain center, don't worry about all this, I'm sure they will educate you better than I'm doing talking back to me talking back

Thanks Sky and EJ. Sky, I tried putting a tape collar on puppies for identification and they thought they made great chew toys.
