I was triggered really bad today by something I saw
Possible trigger:

I am just so glad today is over

trying to recover from it all

I am sorry you experienced a trigger today that brought about the upsetting memories of what happened to your grandfather.

When this happens, remember you are "safe" in the now and that it's ok to be patient and allow this to pass. Acknowledge that you remember, it was sad and whatever feelings you have from that and practice some safe self soothing thoughts and giving self time to allow it to pass.

Sorry you had to go through this. Triggers are so sneaky and mind numbing. Give yourself some time to rest and heal. Protein meals and lots of fluids. Be good to your self.
