My dreams have started up again..except now not only is my grandmother there but there are also broken cars, tornados, and demolished houses. I feel so jittery..everything makes me jump..yet I am numb. I don't know why all of this is getting to me so bad..I'm lucky my family my house is safe..but I'm really sensitive to others feelings and conditions. Just seeing all the houses plus the flashbacks to the accident where getting worse before the natural disaster. They do this time of year..and will proceed to get worse as July makes it's way up the calander..I'm just needing some support and comfort right now..I feel so stupid..I feel so nauseauated..my chest hurts.

Thank you..I feel really numb and chaotic. It helps to hear from people. Trying to hang on and keep control for how much longer I don't know. Needing comfort. Needing comfort. Needing comfort.

things sound to be getting worse - have you talked to a dr or anything? is there anything they can do med wise, get you trhough the season? I would have never thought it before i started, but it can sure take the edge off and make is easier to deal. I haven't triggered nearly as badly as I have been once i started. thinking of you - holding you tight. i seem to be awake at night a lot now - i'll look after you and try to fight off the dreams. *kiya loans silver her DreamCatcher*.

Thank you, I have considered going to my regular dr and telling him..I'm just scared..and there is this part in me that doesn't want to ever have to deal with it..I scared myself so bad in January after my little meltdown, I don't know if I could handle something similar to that. But I will make an apointment with him since my mom has a no school this week. Plus my dr is really good looking. I'm feeling a bit better today.

Because...you've been traumatized?

"JUST BECAUSE" you are physically ok, and your house and and and... doesn't mean that you haven't been deeply affected by this. Dreaming is one way the brain tries to make sense out of things, and file the thoughts and sights away.

Needing comfort.

Like someone said before me you've been traumatized and it's hard to cope after a trauma. Flashbacks comes without notice sometime. They just pop up.

It is a good idea to check with someone who works in medical field. They can maybe help you out.

Hope you are feeling a bit more secure right now.

That's a good idea to start with your medical doctor who probably already knows about all of this. Doc won't be surprised that you're having these dreams and flashbacks - will probably know what to do. If not, doc will know how to get a referral with someone. I wish i'd started talking about all of this stuff soon after it happened instead of waiting all these years.
