I won't go into details right now, but I believe I lived for years with PTSD and only in the past few years have I been really finally doing well. I was traumatized in college and I don't remember some of that time. I don't know if I need to find out or not. I don't know if my parents know anything that I don't. Maybe I had a nervous breakdown. I'm not sure.

Sometimes there are reasons why someone does not remember something that has happened to them.

I know stuff happened to me from my Ex boyfriend, because I wrote it down but I can't remember it and it's frustrating.

Memories come when we are ready to deal with them.
The more you try to force it out the more you will be pushing it back further in your mind.

Talking about it, what you feel happened, or what you remember can help though.

I started having really vivid and horrific n*ghtmares almost a year ago. What helped for me was to write down every detail, no matter how absurd, and just set it aside, come back to it later. Also, I posted some of my dreams to a friend of mine who is very intuitive, and she helped me interpret the imagery.

Welcome obsids... yes a good intuitive friend can help you with your dreams.. because they know you and your life... which is what the nightmares are about.... nightmares are a way of your brain to try and process events in life.
