I am on risperadol of .5 mg. I am fearing that I am going to gain weight. can you gain weight on this low dose?

I don't know fitgal.

I know that Risperdal can cause weight gain, though not as much as Zyprexa.

I'm on 0.75 mg Risperdal. I've been taking it for a couple of weeks and there is no weight gain for me. Everyone is different though. I think you'll just have to discover on your own whether or not you gain weight on it.

I've been on Risperdal for 6 years and have not had one side effect. I was up to 2.5 mg, but am now down to 1 mg and have never had any problems, with weight or anything else.
