ive been taking my medications on a regular basis now, although have not been 'digesting them properly', my urine has been darker then usual and i have been having lots of pain in my chest and around my kidney areas. My mom and grandmother has a history of kidney diease and operations, etc. My grandmother is also mentally ill or was just basically exactly like me. heh. so maybe i could have same symptoms/stuff like her?? idkk.

just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or ideas what this could turn into or what is causing this?? i talked to my doctor a little bit about my issues that i am having but, there getting alot worse now, so i dont know what to do now.

Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful !!

It could be the meds that are causing problems, sometimes your kidneys don't want to digest things properly.

With your history of kidney disease and problems, I'd go to your GP and see about getting an ultrasound and urine test done.

Also, I'd strongly suggest upping your liquid intake (not caffeinated products or ones with high sugar) and possibly going to a pharmacy and getting some cranberry extract pills (or cranberry juice, with little or no added sugar).

Hope you feel better soon. not digesting and having pains around my kidneys.

Dark urine and pain, huh? Make sure you stay fully hydrated -- 8 glasses of water a day, and it does make a difference if it's water versus coffee or soda or whatever.

And do contact your doctor right away. Get this checked out, because you don't want to risk your kidneys.

Good luck.
