Alternatives to Adderall without sexual side-effects

Hi!

Adderall XR is giving me negative sexual side-effects. I'm certain Adderall XR (i.e. amphetamine!) is the problem, because when I don't take it, you could hoist a flag from me, but while on Adderall XR, I can't even get to half-mast most of the time, and when I do, it goes away pretty easily.

So, I'm wondering if there's an alternative to amphetamines for ADD/ADHD. I don't want to take Strattera because it has even scarier potential sexual side-effects, like decoupling of orgasm from ejaculation, and painful orgasm.

I'm currently taking St. John's Wort and 5-HTP, and I find that they take the worry and anxiety out of my day-to-day life. They are fantastic. If I were to identify with any of the six types of ADD, it would be type 3 -- Overfocused. So maybe I don't need anything other than SJW and 5-HTP, but I do feel a little "dopey" or "out of it" during the day, but maybe that's because of lack of sleep

Gotta say, I experienced that same negative effect from adderall.
Switched to Concerta (which is also amphetamine)and for some reason problem is gone.
Can't say for sure if you will get similar results but worth a try...plus the Concerta seems to agree with me more anyway.

my husband is taking Strattera and hasn't complained about sexual side-effects. His libido is not as terrific as it was before, but it's not bad either, all things considered.
