I was just Rx'd Saphris. I am supposed to take 2.5mg at bed for three nights and then move up to 5mg at bedtime after that.
Anyone have any experience with this? I keep reading that the trails were for 5mg twice daily or even 10mg twice daily. I've found nothing about 5mg once daily...? The only other Rx's I have are Klonopin 1mg PRN and Ritalin 20mg 2x a day. So the Saphris is monotherapy for Bipolar 1, not adjunctive with any other med or mood stabilizer for BP. Thoughts?

I took 5mg daily and it worked beautifully for me. Take it about 20 minutes before you want to sleep.

Got to take it before you sleep it'll knock you out. I became allergic to it by getting extreme intestinal issues, and mouth sores.
