I know it's foolish, but I've tried some over the counter diet pills for the past month. The first I tried was caffeine free Hydroxycut... These didn't curb my appetite, but initially they calmed me and I didn't smoke for a whole 24 hours! Then I started becoming anxious, and stopped taking them. Then, I bought Fenphedra online...It doesn't contain anything like "fen fen" or ephedra but does have some powerful caffeine stimulants as well as fat burner. I could tell I was losing weight, but I was also racing internally, and couldn't sleep, so I stopped them.
I guess the only sane way to lose weight is to watch what you eat and exercise! Diet pills...

A friend bought some "green tea with hoodia" for weight loss. Says the mega way.. He said I could try it too, but I am waiting to see what it does to him first. The directions also say count calories and uh oh "exercise"...

But I think your right. The best way to lose weight is "proportions" of what you eat and of course good ole exercise. Don't think there is any way getting out of the exercise part.

RF...Last year I bought the "best" hoodia on the market according to online reviews. After a few days of taking it, I had abdominal pains and so I quit that also.
I need to get out and walk in this fine fall weather!

Walking is great exercise. I was much thinner when I would take those long walks. There were times I'd walk a mile one way just for a cup of coffee and sipped it on the way back. I lost a lot of weight just by walking. I am a tubby now. I plan to start walking again, when the temps fall to the 50's. Seems the older I get the less tolerant I am of "heat". So I enjoy those crisp, cool fall walks....

Good luck with trying to shed some lbs..

RF!!!
I totally cannot tolerate the heat...
I attribute much of this to the Paxil I'm taking, having learned that it promotes heat intolerance. So, now with the cooler weather, it wll be easier to walk. I have lost a lot of weight in the past from walking, and hope to get in the swing of it soon again.

I lost a lot of weight by not letting myself eat out--no McDonalds or BK...no hamburgers or french fries. I made myself cook all my meals and the weight started coming off..oh, and yeah, I had to get a little more active. Diet pills never worked for me.

while on the topic of diet pills... be VERY careful with Duromine.. OMG

my friend gets them to lose weight, even tho she's alot smaller now, and also gives them out as they act like speed in a sense. I believe they have some kind of amphetamine in them and keep you awake forever and stop u from being hungry.

I had one on the wkend with my bf and it was hell... it was ok till the next day when I had barely any sleep, breathing problems, was so aggro, depressed, shaky, everytime I stood up I almost blacked out...

nasty stuff!!!

I can't take anything with stimulants in them, and most seem to have that effect on me. I've given up on diet pills and think good ol' exercise and conscientious diet is the only solution.

When I exercise (at the gym) I get a ravenous appetite and come home and eat like a pig.
While... not quite a pig, but I eat like double my normal lunch.
The only thing that's ever worked for me (but i'm not overweight) is to fast for one day, then that kills my appetite for the next day or so...and bam...i lose 5 lbs.
