going from prozac/effexor/lithium to cymbalta/abilify.

prozac--not good enough for OCD
effexor--not good enough for depression
lithium--only been on it for 4 months, so far so good.

anyone with either of these combinations?

I am not sure which combo you are speaking of, I am on Effexor XR 375mg a every morning and 900mg of Lithium Carbonate CR (Controlled Release) two times a day. As well as a lot of others.

I have still not ever came out of the depression 100% though I was slowly increased the Effexor XR from 37 1/2mg per day to my current dose of 375mg a day with no increase in the amount of Lithium CR I am taking. Also take Risperdal 3mg once at night, Valium 10mg four times a day, Artane 5mg three times a day, Adderal XR 20mg once a day as well as medication for my physical illness and disorders.

I have benifited from the high dose of Effexor XR, without going manic, only feel about three days ago to be toxic on Lithium CR, so for the last tree days I have reduced my Lithium CR by 450mg per day and am having increased energy and strength both physically and mentally. Last night I did not sleep I could have only chose not to so I really do not think I am manic with the reduced amount of Lithium my level was at number 8 which is too high for me on 1800mg per day of lithium. I on Lithobid in the past at 1800mg per day never had any higher level of lithium in my blood stream than number 5 to 6.

I guess that is the combonations I take of the meds you spoke of.

Hope you get them straightned out to work good for you and in your favor.
