In all my years of therapy, I've never had a session on my birthday. My T knows, and I'm bringing cookies. But I don't want to "waste" my whole session. I'm sure she doesn't expect us to "party" for 1 1/2 hours! Maybe I can just hold her hand the whole time! No, I don't think that's a good idea. My birthday is always bittersweet because my Mom died the day before it, years ago.
 Did anyone have a session on your birthday? What did you do? I really wish she'd give me a present, but she probably won't so I'm better off not thinking about that. Her presence are her presents!  My H and I are going out to lunch first.

Happy Birthday rainbow! My birthday is somewhat bittersweet, as well. I buried my father two days before I turned 21.
Actually, I saw my T for the very first time the day after I turned 20. I will be 30 this August and have a silly wish to see T on our 10th anniversary/my 30th birthday. LOL |

Happy Day! I had a b-day appt but didn't tell him until way later. It was early on in treatment and all the stuff I was dealing with was still new and big, and there just wasn't room for other subject matter. Maybe next year!

happy bday rainbow. As a matter of fact last week I had my session on my birthday. I never even told her so nothin special and if she knew otherwise it wasnt mentioned. which was fine.

My T and I have birthdays on the same day of the week, about 6 weeks apart...for two years in a row, our birthdays fell on a regular appointment day for me, and we did see each other on both of our birthdays. I always bring him a little present. I hope you had a good session.
