Just for today, I will not panic that I'm alone.
In order to get out of the vortex, I need to stop swimming, cross my arms, fall like a stone to the bottom going down through the axis of the vortex and get out to fresh air following a different path. |

I have to recycle some of mine b/c they've not been true irl yet.
Just for today, I will not binge/purge for the rest of the day. I will eat and keep down a healthy dinner and a snack. |

Just for today, I will pretend I'm normal and will go out for coffee with a former co-worker. I will talk about the weather and football and will not think about work, therapy, my ED, my husband's alcoholism, and all the other stressors in my life.

I will not obsess about my therapist's reactions, inciting behavior, lack of so-called boundaries, arrogance, burnout, theoretical approach....the list could go on, but honestly? I'm over it. I'm getting more out of my yoga nidra, dog walks, friendships and contributing to my little community than I am from therapy.
But the obsessing goes on, and just for today, I will do my best to let it go. |

Just for today/tomorrow, I will indulge my desires for chicken soup as I nurse this cold. I will believe (or act as if I believe) it is good to take care of myself, so I will not push myself to my outermost level of endurance.
