What a great way to learn about yourself within the safety of group therapy.

Next session is for another 3 weeks and I am expecting that this will be more challenging as it is building on the assertiveness skills from the past 3 weeks. Monday Wednesday and Thursday from 930 to 1145, the last 45 is a break then a self care or self awareness practice.

Anyone else in GT have a meditation or relaxation practice at the end of sessions?

That's not something I've ever seen at GT.

My DBT group does a breathing or meditation exercise at the end. It's usually ~5 mins.
Thanks for this!

You might want to suggest this as a lot of my self awareness has during these exercises.
Range of stress management, relaxation and wakefull awareness.
It has been like gentle yoga for my troubled mind.

Our sessions were around 15 to 30 minutes. Really great on the days that the stress was extreme, before driving home distracted.

We have learned that even a single breath can focus us to the present.
Thanks for sharing.
