Saturday. What's everyone doing this weekend? Today- I'm going to tidy up the house, visit with my neice and nephew. Husband never heard anything from work yet and I don't feel like being around him-so I plan to bail out of here for the day.

Nice sunny day here - a little windy, but beautiful. The daffodils are in bloom and a few tulips have also started to appear. I'm going to work in a little bit, to start clearing out my desk; it's easier to do that when there are not so many people around.

Granite-a hike seems nice. Good excercise. Maybe I'll go get lost in the woods for a few hours.

I was gonna ask if it was a full moon, people have been a little wacky here. Wow is spring always that predictable in Sweden, you have the holiday and poof the bulbs bloom? we are going to have lilies of the valley without the lilacs this year, the lilacs are almost over, the lilies of the valley have barely begun. usually they're in bloom together, and people plant one under the other, double yum!

Well, duh, we get the flatpack SPRYNG at IKEA, completely predictable! You wouldn't believe how many Allen wrenches you need for a cherry blossom.
Thanks for this!

H got called into work, so I''m here cleaning house. Oh the life of a domestic diva (that's sarcasm, ya hear).

It's actually called I've been too depressed to clean anything for six months. Health inspector would come in and condemn my house if he came in.

At least we have AC...and it didn't cost much to fix.

Hi I'm new here. I've had a rough week partially because I did not have T this week. I'm counting down the days til my next appointment this week. It's hot where I am, I might sit outside a while. Take care, everyone.

busy morning this morning ... cleaning up my almost 2 yr old's messes. it started with discovering, when I went to get her out of her crib, that she had ripped the ear off an old stuffed dog (I had it when I was a baby, so it's been around a few years) and pulled out half the stuffing, which was what looked like shredded paper and styrofoam bits. what a huge mess .... her blankets full of it, all over the carpet ..... Put her in her high chair for her breakfast while I cleaned that up, vacuumed our bedroom while was at it. Got her out of her chair to clean her up, planning to vacuum the kitchen then. While I was cleaning the kitchen, she got in the trash, pulled out a cup of dirt (had a seed in it, was some kids' activity from our mom's group) and dumped.
Okey dokey, clean THAT up! Get the kid dressed, fold the laundry, get ready to go visit an older lady from our church. Discover the little stinker has taken her poopy diaper off in the playroom and her dress will have to be changed too because it wiped her butt pretty much clean.
Almost to the lady's place, she puts some sticker or something in her mouth, it makes her barf some of her milk on herself. Clean her up, but she smells like sour milk ....
Ah, the joys and woes of motherhood!
The good news in all this is that I did not once lose my cool and handled it all with fairly good humor .... now that is a truly amazing thing! Sometimes I get kinda growly or feel frazzled or whatever, but it was all just sort of like, OK, this is a bit funny! this morning.
So now I'm gonna sit on the couch and relax a while (while the kids are all asleep and out of mischief for a brief time!)
Thanks for this!

Was just enjoying some cinnamon toast and coffee on the couch when someone called my cell phone to let me know I don't have to water her plants today. Who calls at 7:30am for that?

You live on PEI? Am officially envious now! (I've never visited, but I have friends who go there a lot.)

Prince Edward Island. (Unless I'm making a mistake and it also means something else!) It's where Anne of Green Gables lived I bet the inhabitants are a bit sick of being associated only with her, though...

From what I've seen it's a gorgeous place, and our friends tell us all people they have ever met there are incredibly friendly and fun.

Good morning everyone. I'm hoping to actually get off the couch today and do something. I think forcing myself to do something is the only way to start making my way out of this pit I found myself in.

LC - you can always come to Toronto I have a spare bedroom that's not being used lol. I can't fully comprehend what your going through, but I do get the darkness. You can always PM me if you want.
