Gah...now my boss showed me a 4-inch stack of papers and said, "I'll show you what to do with these next week."

At least I got Friday off!

Well our cuddling needs to take place on a love seat in a dimly lite corner under a blanket.
Thanks for this!

Had a great session today. Really connected with T. Brought in a duffel bag that had some of my child-hood toys in it and was able to take that walk down memory lane with her without filling up with despair. At the end of the session-we hugged tight. And for that moment everything was right in the world. I love my T-I felt a strong connection to her for the first time in a long time and I feel like some progress was made.

Howdy. Just got done teaching CPR/1st Aid. Done already! 3.5 hours and everybody passed. Once I got over the initial shyness (about 5 minutes), I was fine. Taught by the manual, had one shy guy; everyone else were extroverts. Have the same group tomorrow for protective intervention training. Actually starting to look forward to it!

Who'd a thunk it?

I might try to explore more of the great city of Greensboro, NC this evening. I have a GPS, the company credit card, and time, so...

Hi everyone, I know I don't visit the couch very often but I could do with a sit down and a cry. Feeling sad and in need of a comfortable place to be.

stopdog, do you have trouble staying in hotels? I'm in a hotel room now trying not to think about what needs disinfecting.

I'm making a conscious decision to be fat, dumb, and happy about it. Ignorance is bliss sometimes...

I agree, everyone is super nice here. You might want to wait till the cleanup/disinfecting is done though.

I don't have trouble with hotels. I am not big on traveling in general but not because of the need for disinfectant. But the couch seems to go from being a sick room to a brothel. And that requires lysol.
Thanks for this!

I promise I'll take a shower! I think I'll just soap up and go outside.

Ha! Good point.

I was looking at smileys a minute ago and for some reason, this one made me think of you...standing in the middle of the room and LC, CE, and I coming after you:
