Oh yeah...and it's pizza for dinner. Bad-for-you pizza.

Waiting for it to arrive, but tragically, we're out of soda.

Worse, our AC seems to have decided to stop working. At least it's night and cool.

Glad its a cool night. Gonna be in the 80's tomorrow here in NJ. I can eat a whole medium pizza by myself if I really want to.

Well, I ordered H and myself each a large pizza, he normally eats 3/4 of his and I normally eat half of mine (then probably one more slice before bed ).

Usually, the thought of the extra calories keeps me from drinking too much ... that and the fact that I do tend to get all goofy, giggly and uninhibited if I drink very much. And I don't want to get falling down drunk ... beer doesn't buzz me, but wine can, and margaritas most definitely do!
I used the word 'uninhibited' when we were having a conversation at my bro in law's house about drinking and my 12 yr old niece wanted to know what it meant - I said, it means I might do something like dance on the tables. She was all, So when we went to the restaurant and had margaritas, my favorite drink, she said to my H, don't let her have any more, please! But when she wasn't looking, he gave me more .... yeah, I was rather giggly ....
I don't really want to be out of control either, but the feeling of being giggly and silly and laughing without the restraint that usually keeps me tied up is sort of liberating from time to time!
I do have to watch it though .... I know I could easily fall into the habit of using something like alcohol as an escape or get attached to it ....

I was going by the couch today and was amused by the amount of replies, pages added today... Someone want to get to 100 to get a new couch, or maybe a loft... Who is going to post the last post on the 100 page... Sure sound like people are getting their drinks ready to celebrate.

Isn't the tip conditional on speedy delivery?

It came piping hot, which would suggest it wasn't the driver's fault.

That sounds really good right now. I didn't eat much for dinner and apparently it's now cocktail hour on the couch?
