Granite I understand. I've backed off quite a bit myself.

I'm in a provider meeting this morning. It is boring and I don't understand half of what's going on.

I'll miss your contributions to PC, I found it very interesting following your journey. I respect your need for space though, good luck.

never a pain, granite! you're special to me, to many of us. please do come again!
but sometimes a break is just needed ..... I take them from time to time too. some days I don't feel like it's very necessary for me to be here, either ...... for whatever reason, nothing against anybody, just my inner feeling of drawing back or not being essential or needing to be more present elsewhere. who cares if/when I come and go anyway; PC works quite well without my (not so sage) presence!

Good morning. I have T in an hour. I'd better take a shower so I don't stink her out. Then again...

Chopin-I would have went stinky then told her at the end of session that I didn't shower so I would be stinky just for her.
Thanks for this!

Hey Hankster...how did it go today with the city inspector?

We once lived in an apartment complex like that. I came home alone one night (almost 9 pm) to find a man in my unit. I freaked out. They put the note on the door, backdated, when they entered. turns out it was a contractor there to install...security systems to make us feel "safe." (nine o'clock at night folks, no notice) I was so upset. We moved a few weeks later. That was the final straw. That kind of drama is ridiculous, but somehow they can get away with it. Hope it went ok, hankster.

Whew, fine! He just checked the notes from the previous guy, who had written "egress" which is to have clear doorways and wide enough pathways for firemen and their equipment - I think he started to say "and to carry you out" but changed his mind! I think the inspectors are all former (or current?) firemen, they are tall, youngish, fit guys. But the jolt I got from the note under the door - it was all very physically and emotionally upsetting and exhausting. I was not the same girl was was shaking her booty at T yesterday, feeling light and moving forward. I definitely moved into setback mode. I ate some ice cream, a banana and took a nap - I dreamed I had hair past my shoulders - it has never grown that long in my life. I was zonked. i'm feeling back to normal now, thanks. I will plan on them coming around again in 6 months, I think i'm on the list now. But from the research i've done about hoarding, the best cure they've identified so far is intensive psychotherapy, so maybe i'll get off the list someday.

yeah, the backdating is b.s. okay, I know i've had 6 months to do this, and I didn't. but still, I can do 3 times more work in 3 days than in 1, and I didn't have that much to do. And I am not that healthy (aside from being 60), so after a while I just poop out, so no, I can't just squeeze it all into one day. it's just inconsiderate of the office, or they're doing it on purpose. i'm not gonna kiss their butt for forewarning.

Lie in bed with the windows open, cuddled up in my favorite blanket with a good book.

What's everyone doing today?
It's hot here for May . I've been working outside most of the day. Came in for an ice tea break. Now back out to do some container plantings for the patio.

Pouncing on the dogpile on top of Granite and smooching her whooooooole face! Oops. I guess I cannot treat you like I do my daughter. So, no touching unless you want it, but if you do, safe cuddles and happiness that you're back!
