guess I have to break down and admit it .... I am sick. blah....... I hate being sick and usually want to ignore it and keep doing all my usual stuff - did my run and went to the gym, thinking it would pass. No such thing. My guts are really roiling now and the toilet is (not) my friend. Nasty headache too. Nasty mood!

No..I am. Forgot to ad that one. Hubby didn't hear anything about his job yet. And I told him the call the union rep..and he told me he did. But I looked at his phone and saw that he didn't. he lied to me. Why lie? Just don't get it.

I know your frustrated and I just got my head screwed back on...so I'm here for ya...maybe he's afraid to call, does he link his job to his self worth? I m the main breadwinner in my family and it's a bunch of pressure, I would have lied too.

maybe he is just not wanting to deal and scared to call.but why lie to you maybe he is worried you are angry at him or going to leave or something.

I listened to other people doing yoga where I work...does that count? Actually listening to the instructor was quite soothing.

He's in a hole. I'm guessing that he won't do anything useful until he hears back.

Good Morning all. It's 4am. I fell asleep really early last night and didn't see anyone's responses until now. Thanks for the support-today marks day 10 that he is out of work so he should hear something today. My T said that we will figure out a way to work something out to get me in there so lets see what happens.

On another note-I started healthy eating yesterday and just that alone was an energy boost-now I'm sitting here in the quiet and stillness of the night watching movies.

That reminds me of one of my favourite cartoonists who recently published a comic strip about modern jobs - one of them was the Personal Trainer 2.0 who trains in your stead.

Does Trainer 2.0 lose weight for me too? If that is the case, sign me up!

Whew! Apartment invasion completed! AC maintenance - also found out how to adjust the vent so the rain doesn't come in - only lived here 20+ years, 'bout time I learned! Double Doc day - pdoc and T. Uncluttering the area around the AC and the balcony door - it looks so strange now... Oh! but I could buy flowers this week, there's a clear space!

At work. I was just handed 500 pages of endorsement information for the new services we want to provide. Since becoming web admin, I don't like the amount of control the developer has over the site, considering they aren't going to have anything to do with us in the future. And they did it for free, so what do you expect?

I'm trying to tell my boss that I need to learn HTML/CSS/Javascript, but he got a phone call from our off-site director.

Woke up not in terrible pain today, which is a bonus. I'm ready for the weather here to finally turn into real spring. The weather is such a tease.

I'm off work all week and don't know what to do with myself. I can't go out and do anything since money is so tight. I'm Just trying to breath and I feel like all my DBT skills have gone out the window.
