[Rant]

Time out from the 500 pages of endorsement paperwork to:

Am I supposed to understand what this crap means without my boss?

I want to get lost in the woods!!

Okay, so boss came back and helped with the work. Now it is much easier.

Now I have to re-paginate and re-enumerate our 3 policy manuals.

The fun never stops.

And in the MEANTIME, he needs to go see a temp agency and help you earn money!!!! Ugh! Or maybe this is my own frustration with my own husband and money issues and I should be quiet now.

MKAC...thanks. He is not open to listening to any suggestions I put out right now. The 1st hearing was a week ago. It took them this long to get back to him to tell him it will roll to step 2-which means another hearing but no date set yet.

I'm going to teach myself and my boss said it's cool. I found a great website that takes you through it in small lessons. I'm pretty good with computers anyway.

Now that my boss is gone, I'm going to work on it right now!

And LC...there is definitely not an app for the process of becoming a CAP-MR provider in North Carolina; there is only paper...reams and reams of paper.

sometimes I feel like that, too, granite. I'm not sure what it is, because I don't feel that way all the time, but I think it's at certain times of the month in my cycle. hormonal maybe, hmmmm?
and sometimes it can be your body saying it really needs some water - sometimes it's easy to misinterpret the signals of thirst for hunger. so if I just ate enough and still feel hungry, I drink some cold water .... and get out of the kitchen and get busy with something else! even do some physical activity, like a walk maybe.

500 pages is utterly ridiculous.

I'm beginning to think the great state of North Carolina has something against trees. Probably because there are so many damn long-leaf pines.

It all boils down to:
If you get through this process, we'll give you NC tax dollars equaling approximately $30,000/person/year to make somebody's life better. How do you plan to do that? Show proof (via program descriptions, policies and procedures, personnel files, sacrifice of your firstborn child, etc.).

The type of facility now receives $90,000/person/year. How bout them apples?

"Hmmm... I see from this application that you are planning to help Confederate war widows."

(Sorry! I've just been reading a biography on General Lee.)
