I am so disturbed by the memories of hospitalizations coming up. It is scary. I dont need this I am doing so well right now. It sucks to get well then be reminded of how sick you can be. Memories...blah!! I dont know how to handle this I cant sleep because of the memories and i dont want them in my sleep too. The last hospitalization I was in court on my bday because I didnt want and was completely refusing treatment so my mom filled out the petition papers to have me committed? I am pissed about that still. Ok ok enough im getting more worked up writing this. Im a big baby.

I'm sorry. I do relate ..... I was in the hosp. 4x last summer, the last my H called the cops and they took me there in handcuffs. These are not pleasant memories for me either ...... they come up, but I try not to dwell on them. I can't change the past or the facts of what all happened, but I can focus on what's happening now, that I'm better, that I'm cared for, have compassion on myself/others that were involved then and not let myself be caught up in the hurt so much again ...... you can acknowledge that there is still hurt there, that's OK, just be careful about feeding it too much ....

I'm sorry you are having those memories. Some hospital experiences are traumatic to be sure.
