The last time i went to my psychiatrist i had a major problem with his wife (Secretary) and him. He is always late for appointments (over 25 minutes) and I really had to go to another appointment. when i questioned how much longer the dr and his wife started talking in front of me in another language and told me they couldn't believe how inpatient I was.
I left and now have no meds and don't want to or feel i can call him back and the insurance company is giving me difficulty with transferring to another Doc i have been with the other doc 8 years.
I have put up with him because i only see him for 5-10 minutes for new prescriptions. but enough is enough
He is always late (25-45 minutes)
He talks to me about other patients. (we share the same caseload at times)
he refuses to change my meds or lower them despite numerous requests.
Any suggestions

contact your family physician he can get your medication records from your psychiatrist and prescribe you your medication.
