TTGB - sorry to hear about the appeal.

LC - I gave you musicals today. Picture walking to the couch with a band swelling behind you and everyone doing a big GLEE dance number.

Foodies - I am not a huge fan of soy milk, but I do like almond milk which I make a lot of in the summer.
Thanks for this!

Soya milk is pretty foul; I prefer almond or oat except when I'm feeling poor

I went to a Star Trek convention once, and when they had the costume contest and they announced where the contestants were from, one was actually a Romulan from Romulus - it's a suburb of Detroit. It was pretty cool
Thanks for this!

This is the part where I admit that I cheat and use the microwave sometimes to heat up the milk. Otherwise, I use a sauce pan and medium heat until it starts heating up, then I lower the heat and just watch it carefully. I have only used peach or banana because that's what I like. No one else in my family is a huge fan of custard, so I just make what I like.

I have a curry sauce mix actually in the drawer! Thanks. And I don't like cheese on curry so I have to figure out a protein.

I don't blame you for not wanting cheese on your curry! I normally just used powdered curry and turmeric.

Any chance you have tinned beans lying about? Or some lentils? We vegans are all about the lentils. Native to our planet, don't you know?

To change the subject for a sec...

Where am I right now? HOME!! On the couch, hubby cooking hamburgers and fries (Lola...fellow carnivore here ). He rubbed my neck when I got home. We are watching Serenity (for the 842nd time). Cassie (dog) lying next to me. Duncan (dog) sitting in front of H. Obie (dog) lying in front of the couch. Peter (bird) in his cage. Home sweet home. I am so glad to be home. Thanks for all the hugs today!

I had to drive through torrential rain from about halfway. Also got stuck in rush hour around the state capital.

Can you just go, "Dear Therapist So-and-so, May I please book an appointment to see you at (time) on (date)? Thank you, Silent" ?

That's what I do every week. I even tried saving it and just re-sending it (changing the dates and hoping that she didn't notice because ....I didn't want her to know )
I don't know what it is.....just hate this specific email.
