hey all....
last treatment. (hopefully) woot.

menopause is hell. Ick. It's exactly perpetual pms, no knowing where you are on a cycle or even if there is a cycle. Gross, sweating, bi tching, weight gain, mood swings. yucky.

(((((Wiki))))) Thinking of you today.

Good morning everyone. Artemis..that story was funny. Who knew a stapler could have so much meaning. LOL.

Chopin-good luck at your meetings today.

Hello everyone. Off work today. Just gonna hang out then go see the little guy I used to be a nanny for. So I'll be in and out.

Hey, Wikid, what our therapy question of the week? I need something to focus on.

Hope you're feeling okay today, and you do get a chance to go for that walk you were talking about. I think of you a lot and pray for you.
Thanks for this!

Temple Grandin is the bomb. She came to my city a couple of years ago. I didn't find out until the day of, and all the tickets were sold out.

((((wiki)))) Ain't it fun? You describe it so well. I have a tupperware-like container that the lid has that gel stuff in it that you freeze the lid, and it keeps your food cold all day? I'd keep that frozen and during a hot flash stick the lid down the back of my shirt and lean against it. That felt soooooooooo good!

... and that one commercial ain't kidding when it shows women in the freezer section of the store sticking their upper bodies in there. haha

I'm not having the symptoms so much anymore, I'm 4+ months w/out a cycle now and glad.

I'm up, dammit!

I got a call from H's BFF (who does repairs at my work). The kitchen sink exploded at RH (initials for the group home that's mine) on the day of inspection. At least it's not my problem (yet).

My longest day at work in months and it's the one day H has off until the weekend.

I have one who gets really excited at change. We're remodeling our kitchen. We took out a cabinet and I called him in the room to inspect. He's almost 10 years old but he did the kitten sideways hop several times. He likes new stuff. He loves chaos.

We have a cat we named Indiana Jones, pbutton, for the same reason. When we brought him home from the shelter, he explored the whole van. He bopped at vehicles he could see in the side view mirror. He LOVES car rides still.

We were remodeling my daughter's room, and had the cover off the vent in her room. When we got him home with him from the shelter, we laid a board across it, but in the course of his exploration, he moved the board and went down into the ducts! We were freaking out, but when we called him, he came right back. I adore that cat. shhhhhh, don't tell the others, but he's my favorite.
