There are school delays and closures to the north of where I live (read SNOW DAY!). My street is ice this morning. Driving to work is going to be so much fun.....Why don't adults get snow days?

lol. When I was travelling through Asia and Europe, I constantly had to remember to do quick, very crude mental calculations from Fahrenheit to Celsius. Thankfully, it was always summer, so I never got too screwed if my memory was bad.
Thanks for this!

I'm going to try to get to bed at a slightly more sensible hour tonight. Distance education over the summer period = whoops, 5am bedtimes, 2 - 4 hours sleep...and I think it's time to get back on track so I can actually get some work done tomorrow. I'm getting so far behind (because this last month has been so bad for me) that I don't know how I'll ever catch up, but I think it's time to try.

You guys have a good morning!

-7°C (20°F) is PERFECT for winter. That's pretty much the ideal winter temperature. I'm not kidding - warmer than that and the snow turns wet and difficult to shovel, and if it gets too warm so the snow starts to melt, there will be ice later when it freezes again, and ice under snow is officially no fun.

Not sure what the temp is here now, but it was -10°C (14°F) which is also a very nice temperature, this morning. I don't really like it once it gets below, say, -12°C. We had -18° which is about 0°F most of the weekend, and it's going to move in that direction again, I think.

Apt, if the temperature never dipped below 70 degrees F (21 C), I would be happy. Actually, at 70, I need to wear a jacket.

Wow. I don't think I've ever experienced anything below -30°C.

morning peeps...

Physical therapy...yuck. I am getting better though. Sitting in a chair looking at the fab Boston skyline, and trying not to set off my seat alarm. (they have put alarms on the bed and chair so that I don't get up by myself...but I know how to turn them off so sux to be them) When I move my arm my IV alarm goes off too. I must be getting better because I am ornery.

No speaking of arctic chills allowed! I am in New England, not ready for the frozen tundra yet.
