He is on immunotherapy(shots now every two weeks), and he hides behind my daughter when he sees the syringe. She is the only one that hasn't given him a shot. He also has canine compulsive disorder, licks like a cat and coughs up ginormous hairballs. Attachment 2627
My pup is super allergic to everything too. That was what I rushed him to the vet for (before I found my horse on three legs afterwards and got the vet to rush out there too). He developed HUGE hot spots in 24 hours that weren't going to heal on their own. They're suggesting immunotherapy for my boy too...and I'm wonder if it's worth the cost. My boy is helped a very little bit by the antihistamine loratadine and also 2x weekly baths with Malaseb. Oh and the pup is over 155lbs...so medication...shampoo...we get through a lot and it's all very expensive

My horse is much better today too. I couldn't believe how much better. He's still very sore and struggling to walk, but not like yesterday when it would have been easy to believe that the leg was broken. He couldn't even take half steps forwards and nearly fell over himself if he tried. The only annoying thing is that he's not hardy at all (TB) and I've had to leave his cover off (though it's just summer here now). The cover was irritating the weird scrapes all over him way too much. He's had hay and food, so hopefully he's okay tonight.

Today I learned that t has a direct phone number for her office/machine. Either I missed that fact somewhere along the way or t never told me about it. But, now I have it and that makes contacting t much easier... No more dealing with the receptionist. Hurray!

You're doing all the right things. Good luck!

Ouch!

Rumour has it that towing is a cut-throat business.
Towies listen on the radio and poach each other's jobs.

Wow, how did I get here.

You know what to do and you're doing it. Just give yourself so time to recover from the bad news.

Too much bad news at once paralyses me. But give me a couple of days to recover and I'm back on top again.

Quite often. But check your journal. There must be something there you haven't completely resolved.

Or you can just go and have a no-stress session.

Experiment with *not* having a plan. Something unexpected will happen!

That's when they used to wreck chase. They don't that anymore. A few years ago a tow truck driver was convicted of murder because while wreck chasing-he ran over another driver from another company. Then proceeded to back the truck up and run him over again-killing him. Now wreck chasing is illegal.
Thanks for this!

Today we had our office holiday party and gift exchange. Usually I do okay a these, but this year I was very uneasy and couldn't stay in the room with everyone for too long without leaving and walking around outside for a bit. During the gift exchange thing I claimed my own present from under the tree, because at least then I knew what was inside of it.

At least now I have something to talk to T about on Monday.

As soon as I got out of be this morning, I just wanted to go back in bed. I hate this feeling of wanting to cry for no reason. Why the heck am I so sad these days???
