hi all,

I really screwed up earlier this week. My anxiety got really bad and I didn't like the answers T and Pdoc were giving me so I fired them both. Well, I ended up in the hospital for it so me and Pdoc are ok now but T is on Vacation and not answering her phone. Im really scared to call her when she gets back I feel like an idiot for doing that but I really cant lose her right now. I need her help and I know that. what should I say to T when I call her?

If your T is any good, she will forgive you.
I broke with my T at least four times and she always took me back.

Tell her you really need her. Things are not going great and you really need her and now you realize that. She will most likely take you back. They know what they say tick people off. The truth does hurt. They expect to have folks blow up. Apologize, and ask if she would be willing to work w/ you again.

Be honest and tell her what you need. Good luck.

I quit and go back to the therapist all the time. It does not seem to phase her any. Good luck with it.

Hi Milisa,
I'm so sorry you had such a hard week! Sorry you had to go to the hospital too. I've never been but hear it can be scary. I hope your experience at least didn't make things worse.
I'm glad you're back on good terms with pdoc.
I agree with others. If you like this t and want to keep working with her then just try and be honest and see what she says. At the mental health center I go to, my caseworker and everyone there sort of expects that people are going to have some pritty crazy (sorry only word I could think of!) issues going on. As in, hospitalizations, getting kicked out of their apartment, ETC. They seem to almost expect things to come to a head in people's lives during this holiday time. Hopefully your t will be that understanding.
