Yes indeed StopDog. That's very expensive. I hope it's not par for the course for a life coach or this idea will have to go out the window!

TRIGGER FOR CHILDHOOD SAD STUFF...

RTS - I remember one boy in my grade school who died from cancer. It was a parochial school and we all had to sing for his funeral. I think two kids in my class had siblings die in car accidents during grade/middle school. In high school we had a one girl die in a drunk driving accident. That one was tough because it was right before graduation.

The curry turned out amazing. Definitely a recipe I will make again. In case anyone is interested:

Unfortunately while I was measuring the lentils, the bag they were in slipped from the counter and lentils went everywhere. Sigh.

Did anyone say The Jungle Book? The bear's name was a crossword answer in the paper this AM. I had to ask my daughter. Baloo, I never knew how to spell it. What a great movie.

Ike I forgot about the jungle book. I don't remember it as a child but watched it so many times with my older son. We even had the sound track to the movie that we listened to in the car.

Sorry guys about the question..guess I should have started a thread but then it would most likely have been moved.
Thanks for this!

Jersey that sounded very expensive for a life coach. That is more than my old pysd charged out of pocket. I have a friend who is a sort of life coach but she works mostly with executives so she is expensive to. Are you able to look at websites? Maybe you can find one who markets to regular people.

Ready, I found a website that has a whole listing of Life coaches. Unfortunately only 4 of them are in South Jersey. The rest are in central to north jersey. I only contacted that one so far, so I am not giving up yet. I'll email the other 3 tomorrow.

I am just looking for a life coach who is not a therapist. Don't want any more "therapy". Just want someone to be able to process the day to day stuff with and help me make goals to figure out what I want in life, then guide me in the direction I need to go to achieve those goals.

I was quite lucky that my T was a lot like that in my early days in therapy. I wasn't expecting it, but that really practical, problem solving, every day goal stuff really helped me. I'm not sure I'm keen for more therapy myself right now. Not sure I can afford to continue with anything though. I needed the strong attachment that I developed with my therapist, although it was totally unplanned and I didn't really have a concept of missing anything before it developed. I think T's have to be so careful though, because now I'm just being left on my own in a way that really replicates my earlier life. Yuck. No more T for me and no more thinking about attachment and what I missed out on!

I'll have to see how I go on my own, but maybe the life coaching idea isn't such a bad one. I hope you find what you're looking for Jersey...

Granite...i'm sorry you are missing your son. My sister's kids have all moved out she has one who is out of college and 3 in college and she has a hard time too... She says they go off and come back different people.

I hope you will be able to Skype with him often. I know it's not the same as giving him a hug.

Thanks for this!

Good night couch. Going to go read in bed. Well it will probably be more like try to read in bed and have the cat wedge herself between me and the book.
