Still praying for you Lola.

Waiting at the pharmacy now... She has croup and a sinus infection.

And with 2 cats and 2 dogs - no new kittens.
Thanks for this!

Sconnie-I try to focus on the here and now at times in T, but she always somehow relates every little thing to the past! It irks me sometimes. "Hey T, I went out dinner with my sister last night and ordered the eggplant"
"Well Jersey, tell me more about the eggplant. I think you ordered that because your parents never showed you love"

Okay...maybe not that bad but you get the point...
Sounds like our t's might be opposites. Mine will tell me I can talk about the past if I feel I need to, but she feels it is more helpful for me to focus on the now. Different approaches I guess. I hope you have luck researching the life coach.

Jersey, I have a friend who is a life coach. She very much focuses on day to day things and helping someone set goals and/or develop a plan to reach those goals. Some therapists do that as well.

Dogs are so funny. My neighbor has these semi-feral dogs -- Jindo Gae dogs. I have worked for years to tame them and can just now touch one of them. I have trained my dogs not to leave my fenced yard, even when the gate is open, and so the neighbor dogs come in my yard a lot to play with my girls and eat and hang out. A bike rider was just going by, and I went ahead and let my girls out to go run along the fence and bark at him. Because they like to, that's why. So, the neighbor dogs, who were running right along side the guy on the road, barking and snarling, see my girls in the yard, and then come into the fenced area, and join my girls in running along the inside of the fence, barking and snarling at the guy. LOL. The bike rider looked perplexed, but relieved.

healed, I hope she will feel better very soon. Is it a bacterial sinusitis? If so at least it's treatable with medication...

The kittens are so cute. Ok I need to repeat over and over "I don't need a new kitten (even though they are so adorable)...I really, really don't need a new kitten..." LOL

Awww...kitties. Sadie would eat them right up.. lol. They are so adorable though.

Lola... good luck with the peace search, go easy on yourself, you are doing what you need to do to survive.

Home and tired. Kind of grumpy. Think I'll watch a movie with the H. Just warming up some tomato basil soup I made yesterday and maybe I'll throw together a power green salad with some walnuts. Not cold here at all, just a biting wind.

Lola -

I guess nobody on the couch saw Dot & the Kangaroo.

I got about 2-1/2 hrs. sleep when I got home, and pain woke me up. I am now at the point where I can barely keep my eyes open BUT need to take my daughter to my sister's house cuz they arranged for her to sleep over. I like the idea of having a kid-free night and morning, but I am wayyyy too tired to drive an hour round trip. *sigh*

Time to drink an energy drink and be on my way.

Oh, and here's a couple pics of my psycho kitty, Toby. One from when he was a kitten and a more recent one. He's a gorgeous cat but lethal. LOL

Thanks MKAC-that is exactly what I am looking for in a life coach. I plan to ask T about this on Tuesday.

Lola, how did it go today? We are here for you.
Healed-Hope your kiddio gets better soon with meds.

Hello Everyone. Active weekend for me. Spent the day in AC yesterday, went to the mall and out to lunch today with a friend. No cleaning got done, but at least I spent my weekend around people. I'm off all week, so the cleaning will be there. Tomorrow I plan to clean and start my search for a life coach.

Goodnight all. It's been a hard weekend, both on a personal level and because of the events in Algeria which dominate all the news here. I don't care who is responsible and I'm not interested in the politics or nationalism involved. No human should put other humans through such things, that's all there is to it.
But a new week begins tomorrow.

exactly. Goodnight Apt, sweet dreams.

Watched a stupid movie. Can't focus today. Working on a newsletter for a non-prof I sometimes freelance for. Just board.
Sigh. Hungry. Really, really hungry. Trying not to overdue it. If the docs were trying to get me to eat, this is working. Yikes.

Going to make some pb and banana.

I am certainly going to miss seeing my T tomorrow (thanks to my so called CPN) I still don't know where I stand with my therapy, It confuses me and is damn upsetting, My CPN is suppose to visit me once a week (what a joke) I call her and she doesn't call me back, My T has tried too and says she will be in touch when she hears from her.( I am ranting I know)

Buttercup, seems like you have good reason to rant. I hope you hear from your CPN
