I've just started talking about you all too. At first my H didn't think it was so great cause I used to keep it a secret...wouldn't let him read anything... now that he sort of understands it...he doesn't seem to mind.

although I still don't let him read anything

No one in my RL, including my GF, know about PC. I prefer it that way. I think of it as my private space; I share stuff I don't necessarily want anyone else knowing about. There have been a few times when I've wanted to share feedback I've gotten on PC, and I've just said "well, a friend of mine said xyz."
Thanks for this!

It is funny. Very Funny.

Not Dr. Strangelove funny, but good nonetheless.

Well I managed to keep my nose outta the drama at work. Probably the best course of action. I love my supervisor, but I have to get along with my coworkers too. And heck I've been wrong about people before, I could be wrong about our sup. So Art kept to herself today.

Tonite I'm enjoying a glass or two of wine, currently in no danger of wanting to contact t so I figure it's safe.... teehee! I haven't sent her my dreams yet for our session Sunday, but I'll just send them tomorrow!

Wow. Everyone sacked out early tonight.
I am all jazzed up. I had a meeting today with a group from a hospital. I really and truly do not understand why people are willing to hand themselves over to mds. It is always fun to get to tell them (mds, rns, lcsws etc) they are not above the law. It is appalling to see how they think they are. I always advise my clients, once release is won, to leave the state and to stay away from their family unless they want the interference. If the client wants the interference, that is fine with me, but the ones who wish to get to choose how to live, I advise to get away. I should have a glass or two of something tonight myself. The western medicine community's interference and desire to interfere with autonomy is so wrong to me I will be up all night trying to wrap my head around their excuses for why they do what they do to my clients. It is always fun to get them worked up though. The courthouse, regardless of how eager courts are to protect mds, is not their arena.
Thanks for this!

Stopdog,
I think my rights have been violated in a very serious way by these people and I have no idea how long these breaches of ethics at best, and illegal surveilance at worst has been going on. I would like to hire you. If that is not a possibility please refer me to an attorney that feels as strongly was we both do about the situation.
Thank you very much for your input and support.

I am sorry to hear that Shlump. You can't hire me, but you can call your local bar or state bar to see who handles such cases. There may be a referral system run by one of those. Good luck.

Thank you, stopdog for pointing this out to me. I had a completely different picture of what was going on here and it did not involve more than one person...one person, until just a few days ago. I have made it clear who I "include" in my treatment team. Thank you for your support.

it is nice that you do care about giving your clients a voice against these letters but try not to obsess over it my friend . the problems here can get way to overwhelming. no matter how good you are my friend

Good morning couch,
Well, I've been up since 4:15am... not the best thing to have happen after a night of Jack & Coke and a long work event today where I have to play "Family Feud" for charity.

Either I had a doorbell ring in my dream or some punk actually rang my doorbell at 4:15am. The dream is very plausible as I was having a very vivid dream at the time. I am kind of sad I woke up from it. But then I freaked out that someone might be trying to get into my house... so I turned on a few lights... then turned them out and sat in bed for an hour.

This did not help all the spiraling... messed up sleep patterns for the last two weeks have really messed with my head.

I'll stop whining now... time to make more coffee.

That's why I don't drink. It's fun while it's happening, but then when it's over. Yuck.

Even not hung over, the Family Feud thing might out me over. What if you just answered "The magna carta" for everything?

First morning of vacation and the kids started off with massive tantrums each. Boo! Something is wrong with h's car so he plans on spending it in the garage looking for the problem. I must find something to do with the kids!!

Go get 'em stopdog! I love people who fight for what they believe in. There are some good physicians out there (in fact, I think most are), but WOWSA there are some losers with a full on God Complex. RNs too.

Unleash hell SD.

They've got it coming.

I admire that a lot and appreciate what you do.
