Before I go, I must share this with you. I got a hearty laugh out of it. Maybe you will too:

this pretty much sums up the way people in the south feel about weather:

it cracks me up every time.

OMG, I love this woman! One, she reminds me of one of my favorite employees, and two, she's right...in the south, if you don't like the weather, wait a few hours...it'll change.

I thought this article was interesting and might help some of the couch participants who talk about having nothing to talk about in therapy unless there is a crisis:

Like I tell all my friends who've moved south from snowy climes ... When it snows for the first time since you got here (even if it's only a quarter of an inch) ... It's important to wait at least two hours before heading out ... That way all of us will be in the ditch and you can get where you're going without us wrecking your vehicle too ... !!!

Very interesting texture. Keenly observed.

It's a shame there weren't any concrete examples.

I am angry because it is easier than being sad.

I'm looking for a fight.

Sad that my T doesn't support me enough.

She has failed in empathy. I feel betrayed.

I am lonely this weekend, even though it's mostly my own doing. My heart hurts. Sitting here looking at pets to adopt even though I cannot afford the fees my apartment charges. I just want some companionship. Or to just disappear.

I swear I get so sick of someone whining and moaning and metaphorically stamping their foot in rage about the same thing OVER AND OVER and rejecting all advice, all suggestions, all thoughts about how to reframe the issue. I have told a couple of friends that they know what I think about the issues and it does me no good to repeat myself, and it's time to poo or get of the pot. Decide to leave, and do it, or decide to stay, and do it. In either event, stop whining. Sometimes I have to tell myself this as well. I have tried to censor myself on here more so I don't end up making the same complaint about my H over and over.

It's old news.

When W was out of the country and D would not cooperate I would, have appreciated some empathy from T. I didn't get nearly enough and I'm still sore about that.

It's a picture of canvas. It speaks of sails, of hammocks, of burial at sea.

A dramatic work as broad as the Atlantic and dripping with salt. You can hear creak of the rigging and the cries of the gulls.

Hey! I'm good at this.

MKAC... I have a friend who is in a situation that can seem like a broken record... but I can understand all the reasons she feels stuck... like there are no good choices....

Its hard to be patient all the time...
