Hi all,
I love a nice hot bath, but my tub isn't great for soaking (not deep enough) so I don't do that to often.

Went shopping this afternoon and got a dress to wear to weddings this summer. It was only $30 and looks awesome!

T tomorrow afternoon and I am really ready this time. There will be no issue with me not being prepared...

At least you are trying. That counts for a great deal. You can do it!

Parenting is not won or lost in a single day. It takes years of abuse to really screw up a child.

I like a long soak in a big tub, which I do not have. I think hot tubs, unless used only by me (and extremely close others - like maybe 2 other people I can think of), are fetid germ ridden swamps.

I'm sorry to hear that.

I hope you get some good news soon.

It is stupidity on my part. I will eventually fall asleep and nightmares may or may not happen. I can't stop either in the end.

I saw the dream you posted about earlier Stopdog. It sounded highly unpleasant.

I'm sick of therapy dreams. I've had a few since therapy started to go so downhill. I suppose the sensible thing would just be for me not to go back.

Thanks so much. I don't have much hope. At this rate therapy will be the end of me.

Thanks for making me laugh. I guess you never know!

The worst thing about it is that it makes me feel like when I was as a child and dealing with my mother (like I was the parent even when I was very young). It really feels like I'm being rational and logical and he's being ridiculous. He declares "right and that's why medication won't help you and you don't need a second opinion"! I end up saying "but that's why I want a second opinion because that's just your opinion". Ah well. Time will tell, or some other cliche. (It was a family member's birthday and I've had way too much to drink, in case I'm making no sense.)
Thanks for this!

Good Morning....good day!

SD: I hope you had a dreamless night.

I had a dream about Lola, Granite and Sconnie. We went pubbing together in Southie. It was St. Paddy's day and we were all wearing green, and we ate corned beef and cabbage. Yes, even I ate the corned beef. I woke up salivating. BTW Sconnie, you can really down those green beers quickly!

Who has T today?

Wiki - well I am from WI... the state whose unofficial motto is: Wisconsin, out-drinking your state since 1948. I love corned beef and cabbage too

Does anyone else pick out their outfit for t days? I don't know why, but I do. Sometimes my mood dictates the color... sometimes I just want to be comfortable...sometimes I want to look really nice. I didn't pick one out last night and now I am kind of anxious... I don't know what to wear.

I do that sometimes. I have to feel comfortable and depending on my mood, that might mean looking nice, or it might mean wearing an outfit I know I like and wear regularly. I avoid wearing new clothes to T for that reason!

Sconnie, I don't pick it out ahead of time, but I am overly concerned with my appearance for T.

ETA: you looked good in green!

Good morning couchies. I had an awesome weekend and I'm sad it's over. What'd I miss around these parts?

And my sister is okay. I found out a few things that add to my anger about what she did last week. I feel obligated to call her today, but would really rather not.

Darn it. I was going to find a bizarre holiday to bring up in t today... just to be a complete brat and get back at her for the comment about not wearing red on Valentines Day. You know something like... it's National Strawberry Day... why aren't you wearing red? Are you trying to make a statement?

So apparently today is National Clam Chowder Day, National Chocolate Covered Nuts Day and Pistol Parent Day. The last one is out because it is triggering. Nothing really fun today...especially since I do not like clam chowder.

You really don't have to call her until you are ready to do so, in my opinion.

As I have been her, anger is perfectly normal. One sister ( the only one who knew) and friends have been through a series of emotions about the situation and toward me.

If you need to talk Critter, you can PM me. Although I can't tell you exactly what she is/was feeling, I can probably take a pretty good educated guess. (((CRITTER)))
