fertile octogenarian n. an unrealistic fiction that any person (male or female) is capable of having a child no matter at what age, infirmity or physical deficiency. Interesting phone call with SIL. We agreed that when I am in distress, I need to feel that T is "along side" me. The connection should still be there.

T doesn't give me that.

So I feel better about leaving, and more resolute in my decision. T has had a very good run, but there are gaps in her portfolio and it's time to try something else.

I'm sad I missed the rhyming
(incredibly bad timing!)
Yesterday, talking with t was rough
the rest of the afternoon was tough

So I went to bed shortly after 8
instead of staying up way too late
and didn't get to play on the couch
so i missed some good stuff, ouch!

Worked two hours overtime today
so don't even have much time to play
tonite, but maybe on the morrow.

Hey everyone.

I survived my appointment earlier. I don't think they've been much fun for T lately, but she's started to really listen to me. I'm sure she thinks I'm going on and on about it all, but I don't think she realises how much new awful stuff has been introduced each week. I went on about how awful the word intrusive made me feel. She acknowledged that it must hurt me particularly because I've always been so careful not to be intrusive. There was lots more, but enough about me! I was so tired afterwards that I could barely manage to be upright...and so now I'm finally going to bed so I can hopefully manage to get myself up early enough for a proper day of studying.

it is always so hard when T allow things or behave in a particular way and then suddenly change things. i would think they should know how damaging that is. so far in the 3 years i have been seeing my T at least she has been consistant about what she will allow

She may just have them every few years. Sometimes they give them meds, but the meds may make her really out of it. Our old dog (god I miss him) had seizures more frequently when he got older, but he lived to 17.

There's this guy at church in his late 60's. Married for 50 yrs. Harmless, but he occasionally says inappropriate things. Like he used to say "Gawd I love redheads" to me all the time.

At church Sunday, my mom hugged him. Ick. And he said, "if I had a girlfriend it would be you". Now my mom is going on and on and on about how he is coming onto her, and how all men come on to her and want to sleep with her. Ick Ick. She's 84 and wrinkly. Walks with a can. She's being super dramatic about it, like it's a huge big big deal. I just want to punch her. Really, chill mom, chill. No one wants to sleep with you.

Lola...one of my dogs has seizures. The vet told us that until they got more frequent than once a month, it's not a major concern. They have increased the older he's gotten.

Good morning. Last night was not so good. Got to bed at 11, but it was going on 1 before I fell asleep. I had to do breathing exercises and muscle relaxation before I could get to sleep. I had a couple of nightmares from which I awoke in a cold sweat. Then, when I woke up a bit ago, I put my hand on my poodle, and he felt cold and I couldn't feel him breathing. I was terrified he had died. I called his name a couple of times, then he woke up. What a sense of relief. I have him curled up with me now. That's my baby.

It is an awful, rainy day. Need to get up and face it. Everyone have a good day.
