Come on down. I have three tickets, I'll just shaft one of my buddies, he hasn't paid yet anyway. And I have a place to crash, you can have the bed, I'll crash on the sofa or in the tub.

No input from me since I haven't seen it! (Although it won't be keeping me up at night.)
Kazakhstan had the same problem with Borat. But they got the last laugh when all the tourists turned up with full wallets.

My history knowledge is pretty good, but my ignorance of film cancels it out.

Why New Zealand is officially, earnestly upset about ‘Argo’

I guess that's why they're all complaining. We were involved (like Britain) but the movie didn't acknowledge it. I'll check the film out myself at some point! With my history knowledge, I probably would have missed it if it wasn't pointed out to me too!

And now I'm dashing off to feed the hungry horse. Have a good one everyone!
It's a footnote to a footnote of history.

She sleeps 120 miles away. My dog is still pretty neurotic about the move and she won't leave him. And she doesn't allow her pic to be taken. Sorry.

Yes, but my main objective now is to finish up on good terms with her.

I would have liked to have gone to her funeral but it was not to be.

I'd settle for a no-fault divorce. But she's always going to tell me, "This was your choice, not mine." Stupid passive aggressive betch.

Thank God there are no children.

I hope you are able to work through this, CE. Sounds very painful.

It's not so bad really.

The irony is that T has helped me to forgive my mother, yet my relationship with T hasn't improved at all.

Baffling.

I still don't think there is anything to forgive my parents for.
I love seeing all these different paths.

SD... I actually wrestle with this too.... I don't like to believe I was abused or mistreated...yet when I tell a story about a typical day in my family..people freak out. That is how I know what I saw as normal wasn't.
Thanks for this!

Except for some things, mine was Donna Reed normal. And those some things I would think were just normal variations to be found in families.

Perhaps the hospital dropped me on my head.
Or I was swapped at birth so my alien family took the human home.
Thanks for this!

I look like my human family too. But that is due to the skill of the alien family to disguise me. Do you think I would have an incompetent alien family. If I have an alien family - they are going to be a superior kind. Not screw ups.

On a more serious note- I used to both fear and look forward to my real family coming to claim me as a small child. I wonder if every little kid does that?
