W and I made baba ghanoush today. It was easy and turned out really well. If only I hadn't eaten a shrimp po-boy for lunch, today would have been a healthy eating day. The stress of moving and starting a new job have led me to seek comfort foods. I gotta start eating better.

He sounds like a new age guru.

We played this one when I was in 10th grade. Do you know this one SD? A fun song to play.

Hi all-
Back from the date. Two hours of snowshoeing and dinner at Applebees. While at Applebees, we ended up seated next to one of the secretaries from my church... then my neighbors walked in... then one of my bosses walked in... then someone I went to school with.... sigh... the dangers of living in a small town.

Sconnie, great library pics. So, tell us about the date(if you want). Inquiring minds and all that.

Fulton Allen, aka Blind Boy Fuller, is from my hometown. Here is one of his tunes, Step it up and Go.

Yes - I played it throughout high school and college. It is quite the standard.

Invention time on the couch!

Anyone watch Shark Tank? What idea would you take on the show?

I'm currently imagining a new style of ear plugs that don't fall out so easily when you toss and turn. I would like $100 K for 45% of my company.

Have you ever read any of the Jasper Fforde "nursery crime" series? H really likes those. I haven't read them yet; I'm not even halfway through the Discworld yet.

Sconnie, thanks for the library pictures. I had seen the outside with the book covers before, but not the inside! Wow! I'm really impressed with that library.

I'm glad your date was nice.

No one knew your date, though?

Maybe next time you should take your date to another town.
