I"m having a crappy night... first of all it started with parent teacher conferences (my kid does great in school but they stress me out anyway)... then I am feeling guilty for making my H stick to doing his responsibilities... then my friend cancelled on me tonight... I had to have a cortisone shot between my toes for a pinched nerve and it hurts worse than the pinched nerve did... I'm so cranky.

How did you get stuck in a swamp in the first place, were you driving under the influence of Cool Whip?
Thanks for this!

I rescued a mare several years ago, nursed her back to health and gave her to my best friend. The mare's growth was really stunted by malnutrition, so she's pony sized, and she was never registered, although she's a purebred Quarter horse. She's perlino (it's a color that involves a double cream gene), so all of her babies will be palomino or buckskin. Anyway, my friend bred her to the Arabian stallion we co-own, and the mare just had a STUNNING buckskin filly! So excited!

She had several babies before by a small Quarter Horse, so this one was easy for her. The Arab is actually a BIG boy, and the baby is much larger than we expected. Usually the babies can walk under the mama's belly, but this baby isn't even close to being able to do that. I cannot seem to upload the photo from my phone. Hey, Lola, if I message it to you, do you think you can post it?

Yes, I rocked it for awhile and finally had to get in and lift the back up onto solid ground while she gased it.... LOL

we go mud ridding and we rode through these mud pits yesterday, with no problem... but apparently we rutted them out and today we got stuck... no no pictures, we were cold, wet , thirsty and muddy... we stripped in the garage and went straight to the bath!

Mud riding sounds so cool.

I remember airboat riding in the everglades. That was unforgettable.
