Wiki... I wish I were on PC when you are...

We have an appt at the vet tonight at 6:45... we are stopping food for the recommended hours and have switched to pedialyte instead of water...

I don't like the sounds of "suffering" ... I don't think my little one could take anything happening to the dog... hopefully it will just be meds to stop the diahrea and change in diet again... (she keeps going between an ear infection, urinary tract infection and diahrea...(which I know I'm not spelling correctly but too lazy to look up)...

I hadn't heard about the pumpkin and the freezing is a good idea...

LC - I am sorry you did not go to therapist today.

I hope it gets easier for you.

HAve you thought about just buying her out rather than selling? Did you both put down equal shares? How is the house titled? Not to tell me these answers - but the answers could lead you to a different conclusion than selling.

Evening couch.

I went to see the secretary this morning before boarding my bus. My teacher assistant sick time is separate from my bus sick time, so I only have 4 days of bus sick time, so I don't have enough for the last 12 days of school.

I went to talk to the ESE Guidance Counselor (who is over the assistants at the school) about swapping buses with L. She said it was too late in the year to swap. I explained that I couldn't handle what my bus driver was doing anymore and she said my only option other than sticking it out would me to "give up" my bus for the rest of the year and have them assign it to someone else.

I did ther math and it would only cost me about $132 to do this. I get $150 per paycheck for the bus, so that's only one paycheck that I would not get bus pay on. I thought it was worth it to get away from my driver, so I chose that option. Yes, I will lose money, but it's better for my emotional well being this way.

I was "nice" too and didn't ask M to take over. I asked B to ride for the rest of the year. My bus driver has never met B, so he can't hate her yet. M he hates.

Yay! I get an extra hour in the morning now.

Squirrel - I think it is good you chose to take care of yourself. I think your emotional health is well worth it.
And you have time to plan what you can do about it for next year.
It might be useful for you to still report the bus driver. Even if nothing comes out of it now, it can help build a record on him.
Thanks for this!

SD - Well, I more than likely will get a different bus driver next year. For the past 3 years it has changed every year. So, I should get out of having to deal with him again. The bus depot usually rotates who gets the ex ed buses each year.

I'm still unsure what to do about going to group tomorrow. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, but thinking about someone else running the group, even though it's only for this week, is just too much for me. I don't want another person to know about my past (csa stuff) right now. But - then I'm worried that if I don't go, I just will never go back.

It still might be a good idea to report him if you are able to. Especially the way he treats the students. They probably don't have much voice in the matter. I am glad that you don't have to deal with him anymore though.

I warned B about the bus driver. M warned her too, because he has said the same things to students when she's ridden a few times. B said she will be reporting him every day if she needs to. And as far as giving cars the middle finger, she said she will have the bus depot pull his tape everyday until they do something about it.

My supervisor knows the extent of the driver. She just rolls her eyes when I tell her things he does and says that he "can't do that". But, as far as I know...she has never called the bus depot and reported him.

I may give them a call tomorrow just to let them know what is going on.
Thanks for this!

The bitterness of the debate indicates an absence of hard facts.
It suggests that practitioners don't even agree as to the aims of therapy.

PS:

An interview question for candidate Ts:
"How do you measure your success?"

Hi couchsters,

Sorry to crash the party. I'm in a bad way at the moment. Stopdog, I violated your policy of not contacting T while under the influence. Whatever it is, I am very under it at the moment. But I also contacted her a half a dozen times not under the influence, so it should be ok, right? No, you say? Ok.

Hell, I think I'm self destructing in front of myself.

Yes - it would be a bad idea. I am glad to know though that I am not the only one tempted to do that when I am quite upset. I am sorry that you are having a rough time right now.
